Agritechnica 2025: The Global Power Booster for Agriculture

Agritechnica 2025, held from 9 to 15 November in Hanover, Germany, has reaffirmed its position as the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural machinery. Organized by the German Agricultural Society (DLG), the event brought together 2,849 exhibitors from 52 countries and welcomed around 476,000 professional visitors from 171 countries, providing a dynamic platform for innovation, networking, and investment in global agriculture.

Theme and Innovations

Under the guiding theme “Touch Smart Efficiency”, Agritechnica highlighted cutting-edge technologies in digitalization, automation, robotics, and AI, demonstrating how these tools enhance efficiency, sustainability, and productivity in modern farming. The Digital Farm Center made its debut, offering practical insights on integrating AI, robotics, and automation into agricultural processes. In parallel, Systems & Components served as a B2B marketplace for international suppliers, showcasing solutions for the off-highway sector.

New Visitor Concept: “7 Days – 7 Topics”

For the first time, the trade fair introduced theme days, guiding visitors through focused content tailored to specific groups:

  • Innovation & Press Day

  • Agribusiness Days

  • International Farmers Day

  • Digital Farm Day

  • Young Professionals Day

  • Celebrate Farming

This approach facilitated targeted networking, investment insights, and technical knowledge sharing.

Global Reach and Exhibitor Highlights

International exhibitors accounted for 68% of the total, with country pavilions from Australia, Canada, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Turkey, and more. Key topics ranged from alternative drive systems and AI-based safety solutions to precision farming and sustainable technologies.

Visitors expressed high satisfaction with the exhibition, with a 95% approval rate, particularly in areas such as tractors, harvesting machinery, soil cultivation, crop protection, and automation.

Expert Programs and Awards

Agritechnica hosted over 300 expert events, including DLG Spotlights on Digital Farming, Soil Health, and Workshop Live, as well as Pop-up Talks on forestry, dealer networks, and international trends. The fair celebrated innovation through awards including:

Exhibitor Perspectives

Exhibitors praised Agritechnica 2025 for delivering excellent customer engagement, technical insight, and business opportunities. Companies like Claas, Fendt, John Deere, CNH Industrial, Fliegl Agrartechnik, and SICK highlighted their latest innovations, demonstrating how the trade fair continues to shape the future of agriculture globally.

The next Agritechnica and Systems & Components event will take place from 14 to 20 November 2027 in Hanover, Germany, continuing to serve as the premier platform for agricultural machinery, technological innovation, and global industry collaboration.
