Case IH Boosts Strip-Till Capacity with 16-Row Nutri-Tiller 1000

Case IH has expanded its Nutri-Tiller 1000 series strip-till implement with a new 16-row configuration designed to help farmers cover more acres when paired with a 2000 Series Early Riser planter and Active Implement Guidance for precise placement and uniform emergence.

“By offering the new 16-row folding mounted toolbar configuration on the Nutri-Tiller 1000 series, we are helping farmers cover more acres while improving soil health during a time when every minute counts,” said David Brennan, planter marketing manager at Case IH.

“From there, pairing it with the 2000 Series Early Riser planter creates an ideal agronomic partnership for improving soil health and starting the season off strong.”

Performance

A new knife/coulter row-unit configuration expands the product offering to meet additional customer needs.

The Nutri-Tiller 1000 is designed to create clean, precise strips while leaving a protective layer of residue between the rows to help prevent soil erosion from wind and water.

Fertilizer is placed in a concentrated zone within the tilled strip to support crop development while reducing the number of passes through the field.

The System

The Nutri-Tiller 1000 was engineered to work with the 2000 Series Early Riser planter to maintain a consistent growing environment from strip formation through seed placement.

Operators can control the residue managers directly from the cab, enabling real-time adjustments for consistent strip cleanliness across the field.

“By combining tillage, planting, and guidance into one seamless agronomic ecosystem, we are helping farmers build healthier soils, reduce operating costs, and boost yield potential,” Brennan said.
