FPT TAKES POWER TO THE NEXT LEVEL AT AGRISHOW 2026

“Every field. Every customer. Every fuel.” That statement perfectly captured FPT Industrial’s presence at Agrishow 2026, held in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil, from April 27 to May 1.

At one of the largest agricultural exhibitions in Latin America, the Iveco Group’s powertrain brand reinforced its position as a leading producer of diesel and natural gas engines in the region while showcasing a diversified portfolio of on-road, off-road, and power generation solutions designed specifically for the agribusiness sector.

FPT Industrial used the exhibition to highlight its continued commitment to innovation, sustainability, connectivity, and operational efficiency. Alongside its advanced engine range, the company also introduced new digital connectivity features for engine management and predictive maintenance through the MyFPT app, giving customers real-time access to engine health and performance information. The FPT REMAN line of remanufactured engines was also showcased, completing the company’s comprehensive offering for the agricultural and industrial markets.

“Agrishow is a strategic networking and business platform. For this reason, we are taking this opportunity to strengthen our commitment to customers through the development of powertrain solutions focused on agribusiness efficiency,” said Bernardo Brandão, President of FPT Industrial Latin America. “Our strategy focuses on delivering solutions that increase operational efficiency and profitability while contributing to the energy transition. We continue investing in a diversified engine portfolio that guarantees energy independence, cost reduction, and high reliability, supporting sustainable agribusiness growth.”

Among the technologies on display was the F1C engine, a 3-litre inline four-cylinder engine equipped with an Electronic Common Rail (ECR) injection system. The engine delivers power outputs ranging from 95 kW to 152 kW and torque between 300 Nm and 470 Nm while complying with Euro VI Step E emissions standards through an advanced after-treatment system incorporating EGR, DOC, SCRoF, SCR, and CUC technologies.

Natural Gas: The Natural Alternative

Produced at FPT’s manufacturing facility in Córdoba, Argentina, the N67 NG and CURSOR 13 NG engines can operate on natural gas and biomethane, providing sugar-energy companies with a practical route toward greater energy self-sufficiency. In addition to reducing CO₂ emissions, these engines deliver strong performance, low fuel consumption, and reduced maintenance costs.

The N67 NG is a six-cylinder, 6.7-litre engine that produces 206 kW (276 hp) at 2,000 rpm and delivers 1,000 Nm of torque at 1,000 rpm. Suitable for both on-road and off-road applications, the engine complies with Euro VI emissions standards and can reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 10% in the WHTC cycle compared to equivalent diesel engines.

The CURSOR 13 NG, a six-cylinder 12.9-litre engine featuring multipoint injection technology, delivers 338 kW (460 hp) and 2,000 Nm of torque at 1,100 rpm. Designed for long-haul transport operations, it represents a low-emission alternative for heavy-duty applications. The engine uses a three-way catalyst after-treatment system and complies with Euro VI standards. When powered by biomethane, CO₂ emissions can approach net-zero levels. It can also be paired with LNG tanks of up to 900 litres, extending operational range beyond 1,500 kilometres.

FPT also highlighted the F1C natural gas engine, currently the only natural gas solution available for light commercial vehicles and pickups. Designed for daily agricultural operations, the 3-litre four-cylinder engine features a common rail electronic injection system and delivers power outputs ranging from 95 kW to 136 kW (127 to 230 hp), with torque between 300 Nm and 600 Nm. Fully Euro VI compliant, the F1C is recognised for its reliability, low maintenance requirements, and high operational availability.

New Energy Generation Innovations

Agrishow 2026 also marked the debut of FPT’s new R24 and R38 engines, developed for stationary and industrial applications such as power generation and motor pumps. Both models were engineered to deliver reliability, fuel efficiency, and low operating costs while simplifying maintenance procedures through single-side servicing layouts.

The R24 is a compact 2.45-litre four-cylinder engine designed for both 50 Hz and 60 Hz applications, operating at 1,500 or 1,800 rpm with estimated power outputs ranging from 26 to 46 kVA. Its G-Drive configuration integrates the engine, radiator, and air filter into a compact package that simplifies installation and operation.

The R38, from the same engine family, is a 3.8-litre four-cylinder unit delivering between 55 kW and 65 kW at 2,500 rpm in IPU configuration. In G-Drive configuration, it operates at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz, offering power outputs between 60 and 72 kVA at speeds of 1,500 or 1,800 rpm. Like the R24, it integrates cooling and filtration systems to simplify daily servicing and maximise uptime.

Sustainability Through Remanufacturing

FPT also showcased its Original Reman line of remanufactured engines, which combines sustainability with high performance. The remanufactured range offers lower total cost of ownership, reduced operating expenses, immediate availability, and significantly lower environmental impact compared to manufacturing new engines.

One of the key highlights at Agrishow 2026 was the CURSOR 9 Reman engine, widely used in agricultural and construction equipment due to its productivity and reliability. The TMA stand also featured the CURSOR 11 Reman engine developed for sugar-cane harvesters. Both remanufactured engines are supplied with the same warranty as new models, underscoring the quality and precision of FPT’s remanufacturing processes.

Ethanol-Powered Innovation

At the Case IH stand, FPT presented two ethanol-powered engine prototypes developed specifically for the Brazilian market, where ethanol remains one of the country’s most important renewable fuel sources.

Field tests demonstrated that the N67 Ethanol prototype delivers high power density and improved combustion efficiency, enhancing overall engine performance. Drawing on FPT’s long-standing expertise in natural gas engine technology, the engine also contributes to lower noise levels and reduced emissions during operation.

The CURSOR 13 Ethanol prototype, fully developed in Brazil, was designed to harness renewable energy while complying with increasingly strict environmental standards. The EGR-free engine delivers high reliability, low fuel consumption, and rapid transient response, positioning it as a strong alternative for sustainable heavy-duty operations.

The N67: Built for Agricultural Performance

Designed for demanding agricultural applications, the NEF engine series remains one of FPT’s flagship product lines. Since 2001, more than two million NEF engines have been produced for use in tractors, combines, specialty harvesters, and windrowers.

Known for their excellent power, torque, fuel efficiency, and reliability, the N67 engines offer exceptional flexibility through both structural and non-structural configurations, along with multiple customisation options tailored to customer requirements.

At Agrishow 2026, visitors explored the N67 electronic engine range at the TESTON booth, featuring power outputs from 130 hp to 312 hp for on-road, off-road, and stationary applications. The N45 pivot engine, producing 90 kW, was displayed at the TMA stand.

MyFPT: Digital Connectivity for Smarter Operations

FPT also demonstrated its growing focus on digitalisation and connectivity through the MyFPT app, developed to provide customers with instant access to engine information and technical support. By entering an engine serial number, users can immediately retrieve key engine data, technical documentation, spare parts availability, and nearby dealer or workshop locations.

The MyFPT app works alongside the FPT Dongle, which connects directly to the engine via Bluetooth to provide live performance monitoring and diagnostics. Users can monitor engine health, identify faults, and share diagnostic data with FPT service teams for faster and more proactive maintenance support.

Through its broad portfolio of diesel, natural gas, ethanol, remanufactured, and digitally connected powertrain solutions, FPT Industrial demonstrated at Agrishow 2026 how innovation, sustainability, and operational efficiency are increasingly shaping the future of modern agriculture.
